I have come to a conclusion that I live in one of the most
backwards societies on earth. Its currently 2015 and Australia is yet to come
to grips with some major developments in the world.
First thing homosexuals do exist and there is nothing wrong
with that. It’s not hurting anyone just let it be, I mean seriously if Ireland
can allow it then why is it such an issue here in Australia? If two people love
each other and want to have that formally recognised by society should it
matter what gender, they are? NO! We should be happy for our fellow human
beings who have found love, end of story and yes they should be afforded all available
avenues to raise a family.
Ok so this next subject is extremely touchy at the moment so
I offend please know that this is solely my opinion I welcome and appreciate
other viewpoints and whilst I may not agree with your opinion I will fight for
your right to have one.
Race and Religion do not define a person! I am so sick of
logging on to my social media to be bombarded with senseless propaganda along
the lines of “Asians are taking our jobs!!” and “Ban the Burqa”
I mean come on Asians are not stealing our jobs at all yes
some jobs have been sent overseas and what not but honestly that is how the
world is progressing and as a nation we need to adapt and create a workforce
that can adapt to this change, I know I had to, I actually moved from a rather
cushy job in a call center to a retail store as a lot of the work I was doing
was heading off shore, turned out to be the best thing I have ever done.
As for the burqa well it doesn’t hurt anyone. It’s a bit
different to what we are used to but as long as it’s her choice to wear it then
why does it hurt you I mean we have grown adults walking around in onesies and
no one cares, the only time when a burqa should be banned is in places where we
are required to show our faces aka when having your identity checked, houses of
government, court rooms etc.
ok end rant
